Simple Search Engine Internet Marketing Advice

By Frank Palani Madan

The way to get a high page rank on the search engines is to use the right keywords or phrases in the articles on you site and get the right links pointing to your site. These are the keywords that the searchers are using to search for your products. This article will help you find the right keywords that you can use to get high placement on the search engines.

My internet marketing advice is to start with a list of keywords you think people will use when looking for your products. Use keywords search tools to help you expand on that list.

Google's keyword tool is a good free research tool to help you come up with a big list. This is most popular and comprehensive research tool on the web. It has all the features that are needed for you to build a large list of search terms.

Enter some of the terms you think people might be using to search for your products in the search bar of Google's keyword tool. It will come up with a large number of related keywords and phrases that the searchers have used in the previous month. It also provides the search volume for each keyword. This search should provide you with an idea of what keywords you should use in the content of your site.

Put yourself into the mind of the searcher's. Selecting keywords is about thinking like your customers. Choose keywords most likely to be used by people interested in what you are selling. Do it right and the visitors who arrive at your site will buy what you have to sell because that is what they are looking for. If the keywords you use are related to your products, the visitors you get will be buyers nit just searchers.

Take into consideration the response that will be caused by the words you use in the content of your site. Find words that fit your niche. You can get to the top of searches for a keyword, but if nobody is looking to buy anything based on your keyword it will be a waste of time.

Place yourself in the searchers mind. This will help you come up with words and phrases that you would enter in the search engine if you were to looking for your product.

Use the words and phrases and their variations in the paragraphs of your pages content. Use the main keywords in the title of each page. This content will be indexed by the search engines whose job is to select and rank your sites content.

Use the main keyword/phrase in the title or headline of the article. Also use the keywords or their variations in the paragraphs of your article content. These keywords will attract the attention of the search engine robots whose job is to select and rank content. Don't overuse the keywords. If you over stuff your content with unnecessary keywords, the search engines may consider it spam.

Exchange links with other sites and hyperlink your keywords. This hyper-linking of the keywords shows search engines what keywords should be associated with your website and content.

Mix it up, do not hyperlink the same words every time. Use related versions of your keywords. If you use the same keywords every time, it may look like you're trying to manipulate Google, which Google will not like.

Follow my internet marketing advice and you will get a high page rank in the search engines.
