5 Tips For Personal Transformation

By Jason Schultz

She looked at me and a smile crept across her face. "There's something different about you," she said with a smile. All I could think at that moment was, people really do notice you when you get a great haircut.

When you feel better about yourself, you carry yourself with confidence. The difference a new hair creates in your life, can have momentum that can change your life for the better.

A hair cut is just the beginning. The inner confidence that develops over time, can be taught to anyone who is interested.

All it takes is hard work and dedication to make over your life. Here are 5 courses of action you can take now.

GUIDELINE #1: Embrace the Pain

Your are going to feel vulnerable. Any time you take on a new life altering task in your personal life, you are going to feel susceptible. Remember anything worth doing, is going to take time, practice, and patience. Get ready to fall and try again.

Quoting Arnold Schwarzenegger, "The last three or four reps is what makes the muscles grow. This area of pain divides a champion from someone who is not a champion. That's what most people lack, having the guts to go on and just say they'll go through the pain no matter what happens."

Pain is temporary. Make a vow to break your comfort zone and you will be one step closer to becoming a superstar.

ACTION #2: Take Off the Lid

Your biggest enemy is yourself. Next time you are in a new situation, be award of what your inner dialog is saying. People impose limitations on themselves anytime they start something new out of fear. Controlling your inner dialog by changing what you tell yourself, can vastly change they way you react to a new situation.

Its up to you. If you believe it, you can achieve it.

TIP #3: Understand that Obstacles are Part of the Journey

How bad do you want it? Once you come to the understanding that failure is part of the process, be ready to fail. You can only fail upward. It all depends on how bad you want something.

They are made to keep all of those who don't want it badly enough OUT. You however are the exception. You will find a way to continue forward and make it past that wall.

GUIDELINE #4: Be a Beginner and Be an Expert

Always be humble, you are never too advanced to learn something new. Always be confident, know you are worthy of even the highest level of secret information.

Never underestimate the fundamentals. Always aim to master of any simple skill. Any new skill takes time. Remember to keep your mind open.

GUIDELINE #5: Dream BIG

Be humble, stay positive, and never loose focus. Embrace the failure and continue on your dream. No matter where you are from, we all dream of something better.

The older we get, the more our peers and the media destroy our dreams. When you were younger, anything was possible. Your dreams are still possible. Push beyond your limits and you dreams will become reality.

Ask yourself, what are your dreams NOW...because you must have those dreams to bring them into reality. And you can. And you will.
